 Brooks Kushman, P.C. Shareholder and Patent Attorney, Marc Lorelli will serve as one of three panelists at the Toledo Intellectual Property Law Association’s spring seminar on Tuesday, March 25, 2014. The seminar will provide an overview of post-grant patent proceedings under the new American Invents Act (AIA).
Lorelli’s presentation will focus on the intricacies of Inter Partes Review and its use as a powerful tool in patent litigation strategy. Inter PartesReview was introduced under AIA to improve patent quality and limit counterproductive litigation.Lorelli’s practice at Brooks Kushman focuses on intellectual property litigation. His practice also includes experience with post-grant proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Lorelli has been instrumental in helping the firm grow its nationally recognized intellectual property (IP) litigation and post-grant proceedings practice.

The seminar’s other panelists include Matthew Cutler, a patent attorney at Harness Dickey & Pierce P.L.C. and Judge Mitchell Weatherly, administrative patent judge on the Patent Trial Appeal Board.
