Brooks Kushman is pleased to announce Shareholder Marc Lorelli has recently been appointed to serve as the firm’s new Co-Chair of Litigation. Lorelli has been with Brooks Kushman since 2001, and has been instrumental in building, developing, and growing the firm’s IP litigation team.

“We have nothing but high expectations for Marc,” said President Mark Cantor. “He has done a great job as a Shareholder and every other role he’s held. We’re confident he will continue to serve as a leader and for the group.”

Lorelli, a skilled litigator, has tried patent and trademark cases in Federal Courts across the country as well as in the International Trade Commission.   He has also successfully argued numerous matters before the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals. His current practice also includes Post-Grant Proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He represents clients of all sizes in a variety of fields including automotive technologies, computer electronics, software and consumer goods.

Lorelli graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, where he was the valedictorian of his graduating class and an editor of the Law Review. Lorelli holds a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated magna cum laude.
