Warner Norcross Welcome Randall Peck as a New TIP Attorney

Randall J. Peck is the newest addition to the Technology & Intellectual Property Practice Group of Warner Norcross & Judd LLP.
Peck concentrates his practice in worldwide patent preparation and prosecution, as well as on freedom-to-operate opinion work, primarily for clients in the chemical arts.  His practice includes pre-litigation counseling, portfolio management, patent strategy and post-issuance validity challenges. A chemical engineer by training, he focuses on silicones, adhesives, gels, resins, thin films, nanotechnologies, medical devices, wood products and other chemical compositions and processes.  He joins the firm’s Southfield office as senior counsel.

Prior to joining Warner Norcross, he was a shareholder at Howard & Howard.  He has also done work for Boston Scientific and Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics.

“Randy is the third new TIP attorney to join the firm within the past nine months, strengthening our role as the largest and best intellectual property practice in the state,” said Douglas E. Wagner, managing partner of Warner Norcross.  “He joins Greg DeGrazia and Matt Mowers in our Southfield office, allowing us to more efficiently serve our automotive supplier and other manufacturing clients in Southeast Michigan.  We are pleased to welcome Randy and expect he will be able to make immediate contributions to the firm.”

Peck is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Michigan Intellectual Property Law Association.  He is registered with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office.

Peck did his undergraduate work at Michigan Technological University in Houghton and his doctor of jurisprudence from the Michigan State University College of Law summa cum laude where he was a senior associate on the Journal of International Law.

A native of Gladwin, he now resides in Detroit.
