Gastronomy, a modern American bistro located on Towne Square in the Southfield City Centre, has opened to great reviews – and even boasts a five-star rating on Yelp.com. Gastronomy offers food made from scratch, with one hundred percent American ingredients. Everything – right down to the olive oil, salt, and coffee – is sourced in the U.S. You can view its menus here.
“Our kitchen operates under a strict pretense of producing everything in-house,” said Eric J. Djordjevic, president of Gastronomy owner The Epicurian Restaurant Group. “Nothing is pre-bought (not even ketchup or mustard), but instead come in as raw ingredients and created by our talented brigade. That same approach is used in our bar as well, where the art of the craft cocktail is in full force. Our mixologists are always creating something new and exciting, whether is it a savory cocktail using herbs from our own garden, or infusing cordials and syrups that add depth and complexity to our ever evolving beverage offerings.”
Guests at Gastronomy experience a refined, yet relaxed atmosphere. “Our goal is to deliver a four-star food and service experience without the pretentiousness that often accompanies that distinction,” Djordjevic said. He noted that the restaurant’s location is ideal for business entertaining. “We are already building relationships with the local business community and are seeing guest come back multiple times a week. I see this location quickly becoming the restaurant of choice for anyone looking to host a business luncheon or meeting in one of our private dining rooms, due to our central location and ease of access to the major highways. The Lodge and I-696 are in our front and back yard; I-75 and I-275 are only 10 minutes away.”
